SKETCH TO POLISH

Privacy Policy

Updated 10 October 2026 · Praycious Jewels Pvt Ltd

This policy explains what information the Praycious Jewels app and website collect, why, and how it is protected. It applies to anyone using our app, website, or in-store digital services.

Delete your Praycious Jewels account and data

You can request deletion without installing the app. Email info@prayciousjewels.com with the subject Praycious Jewels account deletion and the email address or phone number linked to your account. We will verify ownership before processing your request. Never send your password, OTP, card details, or UPI PIN.

In the app, open Profile → Delete My Account. You may be asked to sign in again to confirm ownership. If this option fails or you no longer have access to your account, use the email route above. You can also email us to request deletion of particular photos or other data while keeping your account.

Deletion covers your sign-in account, profile, cart, wishlist, saved personal jewellery photos and memories, preferences, gift invitations, quotations and related photos, appointments, reminders, alerts, reviews, and other personal requests. If ownership of an older photo cannot be verified safely, access is restricted and the photo requires an ownership check before removal; contact us to resolve it. Transaction, payment, invoice, and warranty records may be retained where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, resolving disputes, or legal obligations. Those retained records are not used to keep your account active. See section 6 for retention details.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details: your account identifier, name, email address, and phone number supplied during sign-in or when completing your profile. Sign-in providers such as Google and Apple supply the information you authorise; Apple may provide a private-relay email address. A sign-in provider does not automatically supply your birthday or anniversary.
  • Optional occasion preferences: you can share your birthday and anniversary month and day, without a birth year, from Your special days & offers. These preferences and your basic account contact details are visible to you and authorised Praycious store staff. Occasion promotions require your separate, optional offers consent. You can remove the dates or switch offers off at any time; account deletion removes the stored preferences.
  • Orders and requests: delivery and contact details, purchase history, quotations, appointments, old-gold exchange details, and information you submit to our team.
  • Order service messages: your email address is used for payment receipts and order updates. If you choose WhatsApp updates, your phone number and order document are used for those service messages. These choices do not subscribe you to offers.
  • Optional cart assistance: when you choose atelier assistance from your bag, the selected product IDs and quantities are shared with authorised store staff. You can switch assistance off in the bag to cancel further queued cart alerts. Shared cart signals are retained for up to seven days.
  • Photos and personal content: jewellery images, design instructions, family memories, wedding plans, fit and style preferences, reviews, and other content you choose to save or submit. Saved private jewellery content remains associated with your account until you delete it or your account. Redesign and quotation references are accessible to authorised staff for your request.
  • AI feature inputs: photos you select for Studio estimates or Visual Search are sent to Google Gemini through our server to analyse the jewellery. Avoid including faces, documents, or other sensitive information in these photos.
  • Payment records: when online payment is available, Razorpay processes the payment and we receive transaction identifiers, status, and order/payment amounts. We do not collect your UPI PIN, bank password, or full card credentials. Internal test releases may have online payment disabled.
  • Service and security information: authentication and installation identifiers, IP addresses, and technical request logs may be processed by our cloud providers to authenticate requests, operate the service, and prevent abuse. The app does not include advertising, advertising-ID tracking, or a dedicated analytics or crash-reporting SDK.

2. How we use this information

  • To process and deliver your orders, including customised and redesigned pieces.
  • To generate preliminary AI estimates and find catalog designs from photos you select.
  • To save your private jewellery plans, memories, preferences, wishlist, cart, and old-gold exchange requests.
  • To share only the gift preferences you explicitly consent to share with the person linked to your gift invitation. Your private likes, dislikes, and final gift selections are not automatically shared.
  • To contact you about your order, appointment, or a request you submitted via WhatsApp.
  • To authenticate your account, provide support, and protect the service against misuse.
  • To provide birthday or anniversary offers when you choose to receive occasion promotions. This permission is separate from signing in or shopping.

3. Camera and photo access

You choose a photo through the system picker or take a photo when using a feature that needs one. The app does not read your entire photo library or access your camera in the background. Photos used for a local "Try It On" preview stay on the device unless you choose to save or share them. Photos submitted for AI analysis, quotations, redesign, or saved personal jewellery features are processed as described above. We do not use these features for facial recognition or biometric identification.

Before you send a photo for AI analysis, the app explains that Google Gemini will process it. You can cancel and continue using other features.

4. Payments

Online payments, when enabled, are handled by Razorpay and the payment method you choose. Payment credentials are entered in the payment provider's interface. Praycious Jewels stores the order and payment confirmation needed to fulfil and reconcile the transaction. Savings-plan and reward previews do not create a paid account, deposit, or redeemable benefit.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Google Firebase provides authentication, database, file storage, and server infrastructure. Google Gemini receives the photo inputs needed for the AI features you choose. Razorpay receives information needed to process a payment when payment is enabled. Delivery providers receive the contact and address details needed for an order.

Where order messaging is enabled, Hostinger processes email receipts and service updates sent from our business mailbox. Meta WhatsApp Business processes your chosen WhatsApp service messages, which can include your receipt and order details. Your private hand photos are not sent with those messages. Shared cart assistance goes only to authorised store staff and can be switched off separately from marketing offers.

When you choose to contact us through WhatsApp, share a quote/PDF, or consent to share gift preferences, the selected information is sent to the recipient or service you choose. Those services have their own privacy practices. We use access controls for private stored content and encrypted connections to our cloud services; no service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Data retention

Account information and saved personal content are retained while you use the account, until you remove the content or request account/data deletion. Account deletion removes associated personal content from our active account, database, and file-storage records. Older photo files with unverified ownership are access-restricted and deferred for an ownership check so we do not erase another person's data; contact us for assistance with those files. If processing is interrupted, the app reports the failure so you can retry or contact support; it does not report deletion as complete before the process succeeds.

We may retain completed transaction, payment, invoice, and warranty records only for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. Retention depends on the record and its required purpose; contact us for details concerning a particular retained record. We retain a minimal account-identifier security marker so expired or previously issued sign-in tokens cannot recreate a deleted account's data. Technical security logs and provider-managed backups may expire under the provider's retention lifecycle rather than being erased immediately. Copies you shared with other people or external services are outside our account-deletion process.

7. Your rights and account deletion

You can update your profile in the app and contact us to access, correct, or delete your data. Use the account and data deletion instructions at the top of this page for both the in-app and external request routes. We verify ownership before deleting an account or disclosing private data.

8. Children's privacy

Praycious Jewels is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request its removal.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
